Exhibition research and development
dna projects is a contemporary art presenter, consultancy and curatorial project, specialising in emerging and experimental work from the Indo-Pacific, Oceania, Africa and Latin America. We are able to conceptualise, research, design and implement exhibitions according to specific budgets and requirements, working with both institutions and private
collectors.
People
dna projects was founded by Dr David Corbet, an Australian writer, designer, curator and Academic with wide knowledge international of visual culture. He works with a range of specialists who are brought in to work on specific projects.
Collecting and accessioning
We do not currently represent individual artists, however we have direct links with many featured artists and their galleries worldwide. We advise on collecting, markets, and new acquisitions, and are able to act as brokers for clients who wish to remain anonymous.
Valuation
We work with a number of specialists who are able to provide accredited valuations for insurance and other purposes, including potential re-sale.
Publications and websites
dna projects works with experienced editors and designers (through its sister company dna creative sydney) to produce high-quality catalogues and other materials, both printed an digital. We are also able to set up easy-to-mage websites which clients can then update themselves.
Display and interiors
We advise on display, hanging systems and installation of artworks in a range of settings, and can engage specialist preparators and installers to implement recommendations.
